Printing technologies, history and future of printing, quality formation and measuring of the print. Printed functionality. Offset printing, rotogravure printing, flexo, electrophotography, ink-jet printing and other digital methods and how paper behaves with these printing methods. Functional printing. Printing inks. Finishing of print.
Knowing: recognises different printing processes and products printed with each method, names the parts of the processes and devices, defines the most important terms.
Doing: manages the assigned tasks under supervision/assisted.

Knowing: structures relations between field-related phenomena and concepts, applies knowledge on the tasks. Explains the printing processes and problems, compares the different printing processes and products, structures things in relation to one another.
