- knows how to look up information using laboratory instruction manuals
- can guide patients to laboratory tests
- takes into account patient safety and occupational safety
- practises performing venepuncture and skin puncture blood sampling under supervision
- can record a 12-lead ECG under supervision and analyze the quality of the registration
