    Learning outcomes of the course unit
    The student knows:
    - Basics of DC technology
    - Basics of electroelectric technology
    - make laboratory connections
    - perform and interpret different measurements of electrical engineering (voltage, current, pseudo power, high power, reactive power, power factor)
    - Calculate theoretical electrical engineering bills with effective values, complex numbers, and pointer counting
    The student masters the basics of electrical work safety and knows how to choose some electrical appliances for the most common applications.
    Course contents
    Basic concepts of electrical engineering, electrical circuits, electrical sources, electrostatics and capacitor operation. DC Circuits, Alternating Circuits, Magnetism and Three-Phase Alternating Circuits. Possibilities of using electricity in mechanical engineering. Electrical Safety and Basics of Electrical Measurement Technology.
    Assessment criteria
    Satisfactory

    The student is familiar with the concepts of alternating current technology and three-phase technology. The student knows the basic components and their behavior in alternating circuits. The student is able to use impedance and power coin. The student performs practical tasks with the support of the group. The student is present in the minimum number of hours agreed.

    Good

    The student is able to use basic measuring instruments smoothly. He / she knows the basics of circuit calculation technology and understands the behavior and tasks of basic electrical components in alternating circuits. They are able to apply pointer counting in simple component serial connections and are familiar with the three-phase power components. He performs the assigned tasks independently. He is an active member of the group when working.

    Excellent

    The student also performs the most demanding computing tasks. He understands the principle of pointer counting and is able to smoothly apply pointer counting on component serial connections. He knows the power components of the three-phase technique, understands their meaning and the purpose of compensating for reactive power. He uses the basic measuring instruments smoothly and is able to make choices between equipment techniques. He inspires and helps other members of the group.
