    Learning outcomes of the course unit
    The student has gained a basic understanding of music technology terminology and has become familiar with the use of more general music programs. The student has become acquainted with the use of information technology as a tool for music education and has adopted the main principles of computer-assisted work. He has become acquainted with the possibilities of the Internet as a source of information and a tool for music education.
    Course contents
    Sheet music writing on a computer. Making music using a sequencer program. Use of web-based music programs.

    Approved/Failed

    The student participates in the teaching and does the given tasks and exercises.

    The student does not participate fully in the teaching and does not prepare the given tasks.


    Recommended or required reading

    The learning material is websites created by the teacher for the use of the programs.

    Planned learning activities and teaching methods

    Teaching is implemented through an online conference system. Students participate in classes using software installed on their own computer and tablet. The lessons introduce students to the laws of making music through practical examples. Students receive assignments that support music engineering skills and familiarity.

    Assessment methods and criteria

    The evaluation of the course is based on participation in lectures, acceptable implementation of preliminary assignments and participation in discussion of topics in meetings.
