    Learning outcomes of the course unit
    Actor´s Work:
    Students strengthen their acting skills. They familiarize with methodology in textual expression and performace. They have innovation skills and learning skills.

    Dance:
    Students have improved their dancing technique and body control. Student can accomplish and recognize basic techniques and terminology of dance.

    Actor´s Work:
    - individual and group exercises
    - theory and practise of dramatic expression
    - creative problem solving and further development of working methods
    - learning to work in projects
    - learning to assess and futher develop skills and learning skills
    - taking resposibility of the group´s learning and the delivery of knowledge between group members

    Dance:
    - dance technique
    - power and flexibility exercises
    - exercises that improve movement memory and coordination
    - working independently, in pairs and in groups

    Assessment criterion 1-2, satisfactory

    Actor’s Work

    Students can empathize and express required professional quality repertoire in a satisfactory level. Their artistic and technique management is satisfactory. Expression and artistic function is not versatile enough. Mastering large entities is adequate.



    Dance

    Students can perform required professional level choreography moderately. Their artistic and technique expression and body control is satisfactory. Body use in movements is not versatile enough. Technique ja expressive mastering of larger entities is adequate.

    Actor’s work

    Students know and can adapt versatile techniques in their actor’s work. Students can disclose different styles and characteristics. Their expression is moderately diverse and individual, and mastering of larger entities is good.



    Dance

    Students manage their body performance technically and artistically and disclose different styles and characteristics. Their body control and expression is moderately diverse, and mastering and perceiving of larger entities is good. The presence is good.

    Excellent

    Assessment criterion 5, excellent

    Actor’s Work

    Students indicate wide knowledge and excellent technical skills, artistic and individual conception in the field of stage expression. They adduce different styles and characteristics particular impressive way. Students have adopted a rich and strong expressive abilities in their actor’s work. They can also create well designed artistic entireties. Students can combine physical, speech expression and actor’s work and they are able to reflect variously character’s thoughts and spirit.



    Dance

    Students indicate an excellent technical skills, artistic and individual conception in their body performance and movement. They adduce different styles and characteristics particular impressive way. Students have adopted rich and strong expressive abilities and they can execute challenging choreographies and entireties. The presence and the performing is strong and spontaneous. Students can provide their own material in movement.

    NOTE!
    Dance instruction is carried out in level groups of three.
    Level I is basic
    Level II is intermediate and
    level III is advanced/ possibly completed professional studies or equivalent.
    The student implements his/ her dance studies in a level group corresponding to his/ her own competence, which is definied for him/her by the dance teacher. The student can change the level group with the consent of the teacher, but the level group may not change during the studies.
