Professional guidance counsellor education emphasises the students’ own activeness, collaborative knowledge production and evaluation as well as developing new ways of working. The education focuses in guidance competences, context competences as well as research and development competences. These are supplemented by studies which deepen and expand guidance competences. The viewpoints into implementing the education are a personal approach, guidance, authenticity, collaboration and malleability. The studies are carried out in blended learning. Professional guidance counsellors will work in diverse educational tasks as guidance counsellors, teachers and consulting experts.
