Profile of the Programme
The degree is a professionally oriented Bachelor degree.
The degree corresponds to the criteria set by the Finnish national degree system for polytechnic studies and the European framework for qualifications and other competencies.

The examination consists of three parts:
1. Advanced Professional Studies (Information Systems Knowledge) - 30 cr
Total Architectural Thinking 5 cr
Total Architecture Work Practice 5 cr
Software business 5 cr
ICT contracts and law 5 cr
Developing the Project Culture of the Organization5 cr
Development task as a thesis 5 cr
2. Optional Studies - 30 cr

Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples
You will become an information systems expert who masters overall architectural thinking. You will have the capacity of a project manager to develop information systems and their use in business. Job title examples: Product Manager, Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Test Manager, Marketing Manager, IT Development Manager, Sales Director, Business Director, Service Owner, Group Manager, Service Manager, Account Manager tai IT Manager.
Access to Further Studies
The master’s degree from a university of applied sciences produces the eligibility for postgraduate studies as a master’s degree from a university.

Assessment of study performances is based on TAMK’s assessment criteria
The detailed assessment criteria can be found in curriculum. The teaching and assessment methods are agreed on with students at the beginning of each course.

Graduation Requirements
Completion of studies and achievement of competence objectives in the extent set by the curriculum.
Mode of Study
Advanced professional studies are arranged in online teaching during the year, so that contact visits are generally on Thursdays from 12.30 to 19.30 every other week. Optional studies can be placed on a 1.5-year timeline. Optional professional studies can be replaced by university studies, for example.
Participation in contact teaching is essential and necessary for learning.
Development of the Programme
The Ministry of Education and Culture’ definitions of policy and TAMK’s strategy have been considered in the curriculum.
The curriculum is developed in cooperation with TAMK’s other master’s degree programmes. Working life cooperation is implemented through thesises and projects as well as network cooperation and advisory councils. Student feedback is collected annually in connection with courses. Alumni feedback is collected regularly through online surveys.
