Objectives (course unit)

Student is able to:
- listen music analytically and define popular music styles
- write songs invidually and in co-write sessions
- work as a member of a international team
- divide roles in co-write sessions (ie.topliner,lyricist and tracker)

Online teaching, learning assignments, field work, project work and essays

Agreed at the beginning of the course.

Student workload

25h lectures. 25h coaching. 20h selfstudy. 50h project work. 15h individual work.

Content scheduling

1) orientation, introductions, agreeing implementation, setting first teams and starting the writing
2) Workshop with guest Lectures
4) Co-write week in Leeuwarden in November, in PXL on February and in Tamk on April
5) Pitch at Leeuwarden, Hasselt and Tampere
