Evaluation and the grounds for evaluation:
Students are graded on a scale of 0 (fail) – 5 (excellent)
The examination and the written and presented exercises will be basis for evaluation.

The aim of the course is to educate students to understand the significance of the facility management (FM) and the operations & maintenance (O&M) for buildings and premises. The students will come to know, how the FM and O&M processes serve the needs of the owners and the users of the buildings. The students learn the main concepts and tasks of facility management, know the administration and operation of apartment building (housing) companies and the basics of housing trade.

Basic concepts of real estate management. Significance of facility management in national economy, life span for facilities, organisations of the field of real estate, information sources.
