The curriculum has been planned so that the student completes 60 ECTS credits per academic year and 30 ECTS credits per semester

Studies of syllabus is planned so 60 credits are studied in academic year and length of studies is 3,5/4/4,5 years. Planned syllabus may change during studies.

The specialisation studies in textile engineering focuses on fibre raw materials and structures, production, textile testing and technical textiles, which include e.g. filters and paper machine textiles.

Internationality is an important part of the degree programme, and the students are
encouraged to take courses taught in English, complete a part of their studies in international student exchange in TAMK’s partner universities or to do their practical training abroad.
